A primary role in the design of the showroom was played by the promotion of the company's own products as exhibits and as an inseparable part of the design proposal.
Using wood as the basic material and utilizing the space of the store in an optimal way, in order to cover all the functional needs of the business, a modern environment with elements of high aesthetics was created. The additional structures were mainly made of metal, in order to stand out from the products of the store, but also to contribute creatively to the play of composition. The lighting of the exhibits is also a key element in the presentation of the products, marking and highlighting the placement of the products and the wooden constructions themselves.
At the entrance of the showroom an entrance hall is created from perforated metal net with geometric patterns, which separates the entrance area from the rest of the store, but at the same time provides visual contact with it.
The ground floor has been divided into two distinct spaces with the composition choices defining the use of each section. In the first section is the main exhibition of the store's products, in the second the most special part of the exhibition, the offices and secondary spaces, while the exhibition continues in the loft.
The entrance hall leads either to the first part of the exhibition or to the center of the backspace, the entrance of which is covered with a wooden structure in the shape of a "P", with the same wood continuing on the floor. This space is chosen to house the most special products, as well as the showroom's offices. At the back, in fact on the main facade, a suitable space is created for the finest exhibits, which are placed in vertical black metal frames, giving the feeling of an art collectors' paintings, while the back wall is covered with black herringbone.
The desk's "side" is also emphasized by a wooden paneling with a special foliated pattern, which is highlighted by the appropriate hidden lighting.
In the part of the main exhibition, at the entrance of the showroom, heavy-duty wood is placed on the floor, while the exhibits are hung to the metal structure on the wall. A similar metal grid is placed on the ceiling of the store, from which plants are hung to "soften" the overall image of the space, as well as a special hanging lamp, enhancing even more the dynamic and simple aesthetics of the space.
These particular lighting units in combination with the linear spots around the perimeter of the exhibition and the use of concealed spot lighting create a unique atmosphere with a sense of classical elegance and harmony, without excesses and unnecessary elements. The showroom's loft, which is a continuation of the exhibition, is connected to the rest of the space with a wooden staircase, which through the appropriate lighting, the element of wood is once again highlighted.
The pattern of the herringbone chosen for the loft’s railing and for the facade,
creates a unified front on the exterior of the store, while also forming the basis for the placement of the company's sign.
